Company Profile
Representing wholesale distributors and manufacturers throughout the Mountain State, the West Virginia Wholesalers Association (WVWA) has a primary goal: to achieve a closer cooperation among wholesalers and manufacturers and all facets of the distributive and merchandising industry.
The WVWA works with its members to address legislation issues, respond to matters relating to regulation, and provide assistance with state tax concerns. The association also works hard with its members to enhance business within West Virginia.
Then and Now
The WVWA’s relationship with Jamie and Bricks Without Straw began when they asked Jamie to build a single landing page for the association. His outstanding work prompted the WVWA staff to call on Jamie and his team about a year ago to manage their website on an ongoing basis. “Jamie handles all design changes and content updates,” notes Traci Nelson, Member Services Coordinator. She adds, “He’s helped us by making our websites portray the image that we want people to have of our association.”
A “Behind the Scenes” Operation
Jamie and his team work in ways that are seemingly magical. Jamie knows what needs to be done, and the work gets done without skipping a beat. Traci sums up Jamie’s workstyle: “He is definitely a behind the scenes guy.” She’s quick to note that Jamie is always accessible via email and takes care of any issues right away. “If necessary, he follows up with phone calls to make sure we’re all on the same page.”
Jamie’s work and overall character have impressed other staffers at the WVWA. Sarah Wilson works as the administrative assistant. “Jamie is very intelligent and a master in his industry. He also likes to give back to the community.”
A Noticeable Impact, A Great Decision
Traci very aptly summarizes the impact that Jamie and the Bricks Without Straw team have had on the WVWA: “He makes us look good!” She receives many comments on how professional the website looks. “Jamie is the best and I appreciate all that he does!”
The West Virginia Wholesalers Association is having a great experience working with Jamie and his team at Bricks Without Straw for the general management of their website. They look forward to his work on any special projects in the future. In Traci’s words, “One of the best decisions we ever made was hiring Jamie to take care of our website.”
