Blooming Lotus Logo FINALAt Blooming Lotus Massage, owner Kristen Costello utilizes a variety of massage therapies to provide relief to her clients.  She has developed two exclusive signature treatments (the “OM” method and Sauna Steam Massage) that can only be found at Blooming Lotus in the Charleston area.  Passionate about her field, Costello is eager to help people find relief through massage therapy.

Company Story

Jamie Summers-Brown had been experiencing some pain, and a mutual friend gifted him with a massage therapy session with Costello, who at the time was working through a yoga studio.  Her treatment provided relief, and Jamie became a client.  When Kristen decided to move forward and open her own massage studio, Jamie offered to help brand her new venture.   

The Right Logo

One item on the agenda:  create a logo for the new business.  Costello provided some basic sketches of what she had in mind; Jamie served as an intermediary between her and the logo’s designer.  They offered Costello several choices, not stopping until the logo was what she wanted.  “They probably gave me ten options because we kept changing color and sizes and different types of lotus flowers.  But when we got the clean line that is the logo now, I just knew it was right.”  The visual was completed with the tagline, “Bloom Into Your Best Self”, emphasizing Kristen’s philosophy that massage can help rejuvenate her clients’ health and well-being.  

Throughout the process, Jamie was quick to keep her informed.  “Jamie was on plan.  He was waking me up and sometimes sending me off to bed with updates and information.  I always felt informed and up-to-date.”

Website Design   

Working with Costello, Jamie built a website for Blooming Lotus that included all the basics Costello wanted:  contact information, treatment descriptions, her education, her philosophy.  The site was recently launched, and Costello has had much positive feedback.  “I’ve heard, ‘Really beautiful website.  Nice website.  Professional looking.  Easy to navigate.’  He did a great job.”  And as Costello evolves in her profession through experience and continuing education, she is confident that Jamie will provide the support she needs for the website to evolve with her.
